Woodcock, Ted (Edward)

June 11, 1944 – October 23, 2024

Ted took his last earthly breath at his Orr Lake home surrounded by his most loving and devoted wife, Ruth, his daughter Jenn, his son Lou, his grandsons Kai and Riley, his sisters Lana and Linda and his neice Tracey and our Mary. His brother Bill, sisters inlaw Ruby, Marion and Jean, Jennifer’s birthmother-Sonya, all of his nieces and nephews and family friends, were all here through our hugs. Ted created the most incredible legacy through his hard work, dedication, passion and love. He started in the control room at Ontario Hydro at the age of 18 and educated himself to become a Human

Resources Officer, a Home Inspector, Engineer, an Electrician, a builder of all things, a sailor of tall ships, a builder of tall ships, The Orr lake Stuart for water quality and community, a boy scout Master and home chef. He was The Best husband, father, Papa, brother, Uncle,  and friend and we are so grateful for his love,  guidance, sense of humor and sarcasm for his 80 years on earth.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life just after his next birthday, at his Orr Lake Home. June 14th 2025 at 2 pm, all will be welcome and it will be potluck.
