SAGE, Glen Elwood

Died suddenly yet peacefully on Wednesday July 31, 2024 at his home at the age of 71.  Glen of Stayner, beloved husband of Vivian (nee Stacey) for over 51 years.  Loving father of Craig, Brad and Colleen (Steve Lange). Cherished grandfather of Shelby, Tristian, the late Jadyn, Jack and Kayla.  Dear brother of Howard (Brenda) and Nelson (Judy), and brother-in-law of Russ (Irene) Stacey and Beverley Patchell (Peter Beacock).  Glen is predeceased by his parents Russell and Marie Sage, Vivian’s parents Ernest Stacey, Isabel Stacey-Morrison and her stepfather John Morrison.

He will be fondly remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews, his many friends and neighbours.  Glen was a good natured, larger than life man who Marched to his own tune. He enjoyed socializing and sharing the news of the day.  He had a wicked sense of humour and always had a quick one liner or a very long story to share, always leaving the room roaring with laughter.

Private arrangements at this time. A celebration of life event will be held on Sunday September 22, 2024 at the Stayner Community Centre from 2 to 5 p.m..
