RANCE, Harry Raymond “Ray”

Passed away peacefully at Roberta Place in Barrie on July 31, 2024.  Ray Rance of Barrie formerly of Elmvale in his 93rd year.  Beloved husband of Betty Rance (nee Cole).  Dear father of Brenda (Walter) Doret, Cindy (Mike) Taylor, and Scott (Lisa) Rance. Grandfather of Steven, Kristin, Tara, Michael, Laura and Nicole.  Great-grandfather of Ryker, Brooklyn, Nathan, Hudson, Mila, Norah, and Logan. Pre-deceased by siblings, Maxine (Frank), Lorne (Violet) and Thelma (Jim).  Ray will be fondly remembered by his brothers-in-law, Barry (Wilma) and John (Donna).  He will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews.

Ray was a 33rd degree Mason, member of the Masonic Lodge, Kerr Lodge 230, Barrie, Ontario. Member of the Valley of Barrie Scottish Rite.  Member of Sheba Shrine Club of Barrie and Remeses Temple Toronto.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
