BROWN, John Elmer

Passed away suddenly and peacefully at the Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland on Saturday, August 10, 2024.   John Brown of Elmvale in his 77th year.  Loved father of Rob Brown and Rebecca Brown (Ryan Sauve).  Pre-deceased by his parents, John and Ruth Brown.

John was well known for teaching music to many students for over 50 years.  He taught in London out of his parents house, later after marriage at the YMCA in Midland, and then out of the Elmvale family home.

He was also a member of the Elmvale Lions Club, and the Elmvale Legion.

In keeping with John’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service. There will be a private family interment, and a celebration of life at a later date.

In John’s memory, donations can be made to the Elmvale Lions Club, the Elmvale Legion or the Elmvale Presbyterian Church.
