ARNOLD, Jacob Carl

It is with profound sadness that we have lost an amazing husband, father, uncle and friend. Jake unexpectedly passed away at the Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland on Monday, July 29, 2024.  Jake Arnold of Tiny in his 77thyear.   Beloved husband of Beth Arnold (nee Sinden).  Dear father of Lucas (Maria) and Ryan (Peggy).  Loved Oompa of Emily, Abigail, Hannah, Isaac, and Samuel. Brother of Peggy (late Patrick) Wallace, and Mary Jane Prendergast) late Paul).  Brother-in-law of Nancy Sinden, Mark (Bridget) Sinden (deceased), MaryJane (Joe) McCarthy, and Scott (Rhonda) Sinden.  Jake will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. We can’t forget his beloved dog Sadie, who will miss him so much.

Jake began is HR career at NCR in 1972, where he excelled in his managerial skills for 15 years. He then moved on to other opportunities which lead him to his time at Nabisco as Senior VP of HR. He then created a successful consulting business, until his retirement in 2018.

He enjoyed many activities throughout his life. Golfing, fishing, boating, camping, and managed to become an accomplished curler. He made many wonderful friends throughout his life. He will be fondly remembered and missed by all of us.

A visitation will be held at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale from 2-4and 7-9 pm on Tuesday, August 6.  A funeral mass will be held at the St. Patrick’s Church in Perkinsfield on Wednesday, August 7 at 2 pm.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association or the Darling Home for Kids.
