CADEAU, Iris Rose Aileen (nee Sovey)

It is with a heavy heart that Carol, Wendy and Hannah announce the peaceful passing of their mother Aileen on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Hospice Huronia – Tomkins House, Penetanguishene at the age of 85. Loving grandma of Madeleine Stobbs, Derrick Stobbs, Rachel Agnew (Cory) and Eden Hall. Cherished great grandma of Soraya Pinnock. She will be dearly missed by her sister Elizabeth Arbour. Aileen (Aunt Nee Nee) will be missed by her many nieces and nephews as well as cousins and friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Herman and Madeleine Sovey and her siblings Ann (Bill) Doerksen, Charlotte (Michael (Mickey)) McIntaggart and brother-in-law Robert Arbour.

Friends and relatives joined the family at Nicholls Funeral Home, Midland, Ontario on November 26, 2024.  A Funeral Mass was held at St. Margarets Roman Catholic Church, Midland, Ontario on November 27, 2024.  A Spring Internment will be held in 2025.  Charitable donations in honour of Aileen can be made to Covenant House Toronto and Hospice Huronia – Tomkin’s house.
