LEONARD, Ross Milton

Passed away peacefully at home on August 16, 2024 at the age of 74. He was a loving husband of the late Mary Ann (nee Trace), and devoted father of Trace (Janine) and Melissa (Kevin Peterson). Cherished Gramps to BreAnn, Trenton, Parnell, Nicholas and Camden. He leaves behind his co-pilot Carol Bywater and her grandchildren Bradyn, Chloe, Alexia, Evan and Jake. He is fondly remembered by his brothers Alvin (Martha), the late Gordon (Bev), Dennis (Pat) and Kevin (Tracy), brother-in-law Jim (Theresa), sister-In-law Val (Ray) and the rest of the Trace family.

Ross was born and raised on the Baseline of Tiny, playing hockey on the pond, planting trees with his dad, Milton and staying on his mom, Hilly’s, nice list.  He and high school sweetheart Mary Ann built a house and raised their family just down the road from where he grew up. Ross and Trace worked side-by-side at the shop in Innisfil for 24 years. Ross and Melissa share a love of story-telling and investing in casinos. Upon retiring in February of 2020, Ross became head cheerleader and chauffeur for his grandchildren’s activities, keeping track of schedules and making it to as many events as possible.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details to come.
