THOMAS, Robert George

Passed away peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital in Markham on Friday, August 9, 2024 in his 97th year.  Bob Thomas was a resident of Elmvale (formerly of Wyevale) and beloved husband of Pat Thomas (late) for over 69 years.  Dear father to Sharon Miller (Kim), Janice Gendron (late Michel), and Michele Shackleton (Michael).  Loving poppa to Michael (Jeralynn), Matthew (Heather), Christian (Melissa), Jason, Bryan (Courtney), Adam (Delaine), and Daniel.  Great granddad of Kenzie, Maggie, Drew, Lucas, Bennett, Kennedy and Mick.  Brother of Dorothy Higgins (late Clare), and June Sale (late Bill) and brother-in-law of late Merna Dack (late John) and Murray Robinson (late Jackie)  Bob will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Cremation with inurnment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.  Celebration of life to follow in the fall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland would be appreciated by the family.
