HART, Jack

Jack Hart of Midland, Ontario passed away on April 19, 2024 at the age of 95.

Jack was born in Toronto, Ontario to Norah and Harold Hart of England. In 1938 Jack and his family returned to England. At age 14 Jack worked at Saunders-Roe Aircraft as a fitter apprentice, then served in the R.A.F. as an air frame mechanic. He returned to Canada in 1949. Jack married Marguerite on Valentine’s Day 1953 and together they had 4 children. Jack worked as a machinist for 31 years at DeHavilland Aircraft in Downsview, Ontario and enjoyed family camping and woodworking. He was a proud member of the OSPCA for many years where he volunteered his time in the love of animal rescue.

Jack is survived by his wife, Marguerite, his 4 children, Michael (Suphan), Patricia (Bryan), Robert (Karen) and Deborah (John). Also survived by his sister Phyllis. Grandchildren: Christian, Sarah, Lindsay, Daniel, Lauren, Jeffery and Melissa. Great grandchildren: Kyle, Ryan, Tyler, Liam, Nathan, Moira, Faye, Brianna, Annette and Elliot. Jack will be sadly missed by all.

No funeral services will be held. Memorial donations may be made in Jack’s name to a charity of your choice.
