Volunteer Income Tax Program

In person, phone appointments and drop off processing of taxes are available for those within the tax brackets of: $35,000 for one person, $45,000 for two people, up to $50,000 for a family of four. In person appointments are available in March and April at the Elmvale Branch, please call us to book your in person or phone appointment at (705) 322-1482. If you are using the drop off method of tax processing (starts Monday February 24), please ensure your documents are in a sealed envelope labelled with your address, phone number and email address. This program operates in collaboration with the Canada Revenue Agency. In person 30-minute appointments are available in April.

 

Magic Card Club

Ages 9-13 join us for fun filled mornings learning how to play magic cards and build a deck. Saturdays in April, May, and June, 10:30am at Midhurst Branch. Cost: Free. No registration required for this drop-in program.

 

Paper Roll Birds

The library will be offering a fun drop-in craft making a paper roll bird at both Elmvale and Midhurst Branches. Thursday April 17 starting at 10am. Available while supplies last.

 

Holiday Closure

All branches of Springwater Public Library will be closed on Good Friday, Friday April 18. Elmvale and Midhurst branches will be open Saturday April 19 and then branches will be closed Easter Monday April 21.

 

Tween/Teen DIY Water Bottle Decal

Have an old water bottle? Spruce it up at the library using our Cricut machine. Create your own personalized decal! Tuesday April 22, 5pm at Elmvale Branch. Cost FREE. Registration required.

 

Sublimation Socks

Using Canva and our sublimation printer make a custom pair of socks! Please note, socks are one size only and will fit most teen and adults. Thursday April 24, 6pm at Elmvale Branch or Tuesday May 20, 6pm at Midhurst Branch. Cost: $5 per pair of socks. Registration required.

80’s Murder Mystery Night

Ages 18+ are invited to join us for a night of fun at our totally tubular 1980s themed murder mystery night. Rich businessman Whit Wiley is found washed up and lifeless in the fountain of his newly opened mall! Find out who did it through thrilling and hilarious murder mystery madness in this immersive crime solving game night! The killer could be YOU! Friday April 25, 6pm at Midhurst Branch. Cost: $5. Registration required.
