Moonlight Messages

By Chris Health

Moonlight messages beaming down upon those who choose to listen. Reflecting from the sun. Images too powerful to be seen unless filtered down through the darkness of night. To those who want to hear and see more than all those who remain asleep. Only to be a sun gazer a goal only to be appreciated upon arriving at their final destination. Moon light messages whispers through a dimly lit halo of mystery. Hearing the songs from the ancients who sang to these gods’ eons ago. Nothing has change to these cycles a relentless march forward to time. Natural rhythms, most have forgotten the power within the silence of moon messages.

Hello Everyone. Question: Was Jesus resurrected from the dead and if so, does it make a difference in the way we face life, challenges, failure and death?

In 1 Corinthians 15:3-8, the Apostle Paul wrote, “… I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve.

After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. Then last of all He was seen by me also …”

aul’s account is confirmed by the historian Flavius Josephus who was born in A.D. 37 and died sometime after A.D. 100. Josephus wrote, “Now, there was about this time, Jesus, a wise man, if it be lawful to call Him a man, for He was a doer of wonderful works, – a teacher of such men as receive the truth with pleasure. He drew over to Him both many of the Jews, and many of the Gentiles.

He was the Christ; and when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principal men amongst us, had condemned Him (Jesus) to the cross, those who loved Him at the first did not forsake Him, for He appeared to them alive again the third day, as the divine prophets had foretold these and ten thousand other wonderful things concerning Him; and the tribe of Christians, so named from Him, are not extinct at this day.”

The Resurrection, and the events following it, made it possible for the Apostle Paul to remind young Timothy (2 Timothy 1:7) – and all of us – that “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind.”

Now, that can make a difference in the way we deal with every aspect of our lives, right? Amen.
