Elmvale Fall Fair was a great success with visitors from far and wide. The weather was great and the people came. The Elmvale Lioness Lions serving food upstairs made record profits to give back to the community.
There is financial support in the name of democracy to this newspaper from all levels of government; 3 out of 4 municipalities, Provincial and Federal. Yet four Councillors on Springwater Council still support a flyer that costs over 3x the amount rather than communicating via local newspaper, as noted in the last meeting with a recorded vote. Ask yourself why or better yet ask your councillor. 4 out of 5 people read news, that’s the facts. Diversify is key to great marketing!
I have launched a refreshed website and free community events and article submissions will be accepted through the website.
