Editor’s Notes

Welcome fall and all the great things that come with it! The Elmvale Fair is an exciting time for all the locals in our area. The Friday October 11th, 2024 is for the children and it bring many memories from my childhood. Now my grandchildren are going. I will be travelling to the east coast for a wedding so I will miss the fair for the first time in my life. Please be reminded that the parade starts at 11 am this year. Spread the word! Everything you need to know about the fair is on page 11. Many are busy getting there wares ready to enter into the fair competition.

The North Simcoe Springwater News is growing once again. I have added 4 pages to this edition. There is lots going on with municipal politics and sports in this edition. I am adding more newstands in the south of Springwater. I have a new refreshed website coming. I am looking forward to working on that. I am hoping to increase online revenue so that I may increase distribution through Canada Post. Printed newspaper are not going away anytime soon as long as we have printers to print it.
