Thursday, September 14th., 2017 in Collingwood The Georgian Bay Photography Club will meet on at the Chartwell Georgian Traditions Retirement Residence (Theatre Room) at 57 Trott Blvd. starting at 6:30 pm.  This will be our first meeting of the 2017-2018 program. Our year will be filled with guest speakers, workshops, photography competitions and invited guest speakers.
For our first meeting, our guest speaker will be Alasdair Gillespie, a long time Cobourg resident and a former teacher who was also a consultant for the Environment and Outdoor Education.  He always looks forward to sharing his knowledge, skill and passion for photography.  As a photographer, Alasdair has taken courses and many workshops from such professionals as Freeman Patterson, Andre Gallant, and Richard Martin.  When he’s not with his camera, you’ll find him either cycling, cross country skiing, practicing yoga or spending time with his grandchildren. Alasdair’s photos are featured on Fine Art America. With his presentation, he hopes that it will change how you look at what you see through the viewfinder. And that you will be able to join him September 15th. In the morning at sunrise to implement the ideas presented this evening. Details will be given at the meeting.
